About Dr. Colleen Saringer (PhD)
Dr. Colleen is a keynote speaker, fractional culture and well-being consultant, researcher and mental health advocate.She proudly labels herself as a blue-collar woman wrapped in a PhD package. Having weathered the challenges of two family-owned construction businesses, her focus is on the business owner and employees within the construction industry.Not only does Dr. Colleen have life experience, throughout her 25-year career, she's partnered with companies such as BP Pipeline, GE Energy, Colonial Pipeline, Greif Packaging, Cracker Barrel, Gilbane Construction, and hundreds of others, to create healthy workplace environments (culture and climates) that retain employees.Many like to categorize Dr. Colleen as a Human Resources (HR) professional, however, she is not. She is an Organizational Health Professional who believes the workplace environment will not change without an experienced leader at the table who understands systems, behavior change and the importance of interdepartmental collaboration (e.g. every department has a role to play).Dr. Colleen is a published, peer reviewed author on workplace culture and health behavior policy; and is a Fractional Research Fellow for the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO).In Dr. Colleen's free time, which she is very protective of, she can be found holding tight to her non-negotiable 5am physical activity routine, running through the streets of Atlanta, GA training for her next marathon, enjoying the outdoors with her husband and dog Hamilton (named after Tom Hamilton of the Cleveland Guardians), hanging with friends, reading thrillers or traveling.
